Are you passionate about community engagement and HIV prevention? Do you want to make a real impact by sharing knowledge and building connections? SCOPE, a project by the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG), is offering three exciting opportunities to empower community leaders and promote peer-driven HIV prevention across the WHO European region. Here's how you can get involved:
Study Trips: Learn, Exchange, and Connect
If you're a community health worker or advocate, this is your chance to embark on a transformative journey. Two individual study trips are available, allowing you to visit community-led organizations working in HIV combination prevention. By learning from peers and exploring innovative approaches, you can strengthen your skills and build valuable partnerships. Don't miss out on this opportunity to expand your network and gain new insights!
Scientific and Policy Conference Scholarships
For those who thrive in the world of scientific and policy conferences, this scholarship is tailored for you. Up to €2,000 is available to community members to attend a scientific or policy event of their choice. By engaging with the latest research and connecting with experts, you can bring fresh perspectives back to your community. This scholarship empowers you to stay at the forefront of HIV prevention and make a lasting impact.
Translate Resource Materials: Make a Local Impact
Community-based organizations, take note! Two grants of up to €2,500 are available to translate crucial HIV prevention materials into local languages. This initiative ensures that accurate and community-relevant information reaches those who need it most. By making these resources accessible, you can contribute to informed decision-making and empower your local population.
Application Deadlines
Don't miss the deadline! Applications for all three opportunities are due on Wednesday, December 3, 2020, at 23:59 CET. Remember, you can apply for multiple SCOPE opportunities, but choose the one that aligns best with your expertise and personal growth as a community advocate.
